I really did not expect much from Spencer's new CD. Eleven tracks of gospel songs is not something I really wanted to delve into. But this is a very nice collection of gospel done folk/blues style. Very mellow and laid back, but very nice. Perfect for a slow Sunday morning when you need a dose of religion, but would rather read the paper in your underwear.
